What is EFT?
EFT refers to a brain based, somatic set of techniques that uses tapping on acupuncture points, located on the head, face and upper body. EFT is designed to reduce stress by releasing negative thoughts and emotions. While I use EFT solely for the purpose of helping my clients reduce stress and feel more positive about their professional and personal lives, EFT has demonstrated its effectiveness in clinical research. This research has shown that EFT can be helpful in reducing cortisol, anxiety, depression, pain, PTSD and food cravings.
As a self-help tool it can be a useful way to relieve the daily stresses that happen in our lives, such as a driver who cuts you off in traffic or an annoying comment made by opposing counsel.
